Our Breeding

Our breeding

At Broadmoar we know that careful mare selection is a crucial factor in horse breeding. We attach particular importance to a loving character because we have found that the foals adopt this behavior. Some of our broodmares have even achieved success in dressage up to the Grand Prix class. We are incredibly proud of this because if both the mother and the father can demonstrate such success, the likelihood of the offspring being similarly successful increases. At Our Breeding of Broadmoar we are committed with passion and vision to breeding future world-class horses.

Our sport horses

Most of our sport horses were born here. We bought a few as foals. We therefore know their entire faces and were able to observe and help shape the entire development from the beginning. What is important to us is horse-friendly training and the joy of what we do. Our horses are unique and a rarity on the horse market.

Our foals

The foals can grow up with us in an ideal and beautiful environment. They have wide pasture areas, which are optimal for physical development. Our foals have daily contact with people, which is why they are not shy. They are very curious and love to be petted by any stranger. It is important to us that the foals learn the basics right from the start. They are used to halters and know the vet and the farrier. This combination is also reflected in the development and later work as a young horse.

Our broodmares

The mare is the most important component in horse breeding, which is why we naturally select her very carefully and carefully. A loving character is very important to us, as we have observed over the years that the foals adopt a large part of it. Some of our broodmares can also demonstrate success in dressage up to the Grand Prix class, which we are very proud of, because if father and mother can demonstrate success up to the highest class, things look very promising for the offspring.
